Happy April.  I've been having a pretty quiet month.  Moms has been VERY busy with work leaving Pops and I to entertain each other a lot more.  The month began with a visit from famous author Alafair Burke.  We joined her, Mr. Josh and Mr. David for breakfast at Cafe Nell, then we headed to Muu-Muu's so the grown ups could continue to imbibe.  One problem: Pops only packed 3 diapers and I was, well...productive...so after Moms ran up and down NW 21st Avenue searching for diapers in vain we had to head home.  The next day was Easter, and I didn't get a single chocolate egg (lame!)
With Miss Alafair--I can't help but wonder if her next book will feature a heartbreakingly adorable baby named Owen
Checking out the menu at Cafe Nell. Yummmmmy.
Moms pulled up and some other kid's mom was taking advantage of this photo op
So Moms busted out her camera phone too
I was pretty happy to see her
Me. Tub Time. ADORABLE.
For reasons that are beyond my 10-11 month old abilities to understand, when I upload this video from Moms' laptop to youtube, the sound gets messed up.  Youtube suggests I upload it in a different format.  That sounds complicated.  So, sorry to my fans.  I'll try to fix it again, but in the meantime just pretend you're watching an old time foreign flick with English voiceovers and things should be just fine.
I hope you enjoyed checking out all my skills in that video--I like to clack my tongue, play peek-a-boo with Pops, and scream like a crazy person when I am in the tub.  I move around so much Moms is sure that Granny V is not going to want to give me baths anymore--I'll make her too nervous!

On Friday April 16 we had a very exciting day here.  Pops decided to take the day off, he took the Audi to be serviced, and Moms went to work in the other car.  Moms was picking a jury for her Aggravated Murder trial when she noticed that someone was trying to get ahold of her on her cell phone.  Little did she know it was my daycare.  They didn't reach her, so they called Pops who had just settled in to enjoy a 3D flick at Regal Cinemas.  "The daycare is closed because we have a natural gas leak!  You have to come get Owen right away," they told him.  He got up before the movie even started and tried to get a refund--no dice (shame on you Regal Cinemas!) and then sent Moms a text message saying she had to leave the courtroom and bring him the carseat from the other car since the Audi was being serviced and he was in a loaner car.  Luckily Moms' co-counsel was doing the hard work that day so Moms went running to the parking garage.

The fun part of all of that is I got to go hang out with my pal Jack and his parents with Pops while we waited for Moms to get off work.

This is how Pops found me--asleep in a stroller outside of the daycare building.
Me and Jack go for a ride in his wagon
Mush, Mr. John! MUSH!!
Oh yeah, it was Pops' birthday earlier this month. I got him a new camera.
After all, he shouldn't miss out on all these adorable moments, should he?
Jack and I had such a good time on our play date he came over here the next day to hang.
We had to refuel after crawling around my room for a while
I do not always enjoy Moms busting out the new camera
Especially when I'm trying to eat
Trying to share with the photographer
With my new Sesame Street "remote control." Pops believes it's important to develop certain skills early in life.
Me. Crawling & going up the stairs. Adorable.
My Pops is HILARIOUS.
Auntie Feather came over to babysit on Friday, April 23. I think the shirt says it all.
On Saturday, April 24, I went to my FIRST Blazers game.  It was in my parents' courtside seats.  They've had those season tickets for five years but for some reason (me) they didn't renew their contract for next year.  I can tell I'm going to be bummed about this in the very near future.  Oh yeah: it was Game 4 of Round 1 of the playoffs and the Blazers beat the Suns 96-87.
The biggest TV I've EVER seen.
Me & Pops confirm Shaquille O'Neal had, in fact, been traded
Did I mention #7 (B. Roy) made a miraculous comeback from surgery to play in this game? Yeah, Blazer fans: you're welcome.
Smells like team spirit
Team Intro featured a Disco Ball. Sweeeet.
The Suns. I learned a new word. "BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"
Q1 = zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Q2 = Snacktime
And I thought MY Moms dresses ME funny!
Q3 = Full belly & Clean diaper. Go Blazers!
Getting excited for a W!
Hey, Moms. 'Sup?
BLAZERS WIN! BLAZERS WIN!

Lock up your daughters.
