I think most of you know that April Fool's Day is my Grandpa's Birthday. Coincidentally, I recently learned how to (sort of) sing the Birthday Song. Here is my attempt...I got a little confused about who I was singing for, but Moms says it is still a pretty cute video. You be the judge:
Reading and sitting in my lounge chair
Rainy-day Zoo Date with Moms while Pops did his Fantasy Baseball Draft
At the grocery store with Moms. She stopped near the Crayolas. Big Mistake, Lady.
After the store, we went to get my first salon cut. I wasn't so sure....
During the cut, I made Moms hold my hand the whole time
After my haircut, we went to my "Uncle" Mike's retirement party. It was cool to see him AND to meet Calvin, son of Mr. Josh and Miss Pamela. He's little now, but we are gonna party in a few years, just like our Dads did back in the day!
April also brought some changes to my room. Moms removed the bookshelves that I was starting to look interested in climbing. In their place I got some benches, a different bookshelf, and a cool play table. Originally Moms set up my Thomas the Tank Engine train set, but Pops knows me best. He got me some sweet trucks that fly around the tracks!
Here I am sitting in the rocking chair from Moms' childhood watching my trucks go 'round and 'round.
Gram came for a visit; we took her on a tour of OHSU
Later that week, Granny came over--we played choo choo on the deck chairs
On Saturday the 23rd we joined Miss Kirsten and Jack at the MAC Easter Egg Hunt on Jeld-Wen Field. Gram and Pops watched from the MAC balcony while Moms and I hunted for eggs. Too bad for me most of my eggs were full of candy that I can't eat (Moms = Lame!) We also saw the Sewell and Knight families while we were there.
After the egg hunt, we had brunch at Meriwether's Cafe. Gram shared her orange juice with me. This just in: I LOVE JUICE!!!
Who ARE all these people?
This is kind of fun!!
Shake-Shake-Shake! What's in here?
After the hunt I ran off some steam
Jack and I chased each other around a bit
Jack's parents can take him anywhere because he's a polite eater
Whereas I'm a bit of a CARB-LOADER!!
Saying good-bye to Jack: First, the Loves
Second, the High Fives
And, finally: The Knucks (this last one needs some work)...
Happy Easter!!
Opening my Easter Basket--Thanks, Easter Bunny!!
Granny gave me some juice in a regular cup. I was so excited I ended up spilling it all over myself. Here I am sucking the precious nectar out of my t-shirt.
Trying on a hot pad while Cousin Katy Jo looks on...and tries not to spill anything on her shirt
On April 30 we celebrated Moms' 39th birthday. I gave her the early birthday present of showing off my impressive ability to problem solve. Please forgive her questionable filmmaking skillz....
