It's July. I'm just over 2-years-old and my parents would tell you that I am talking up a storm. I've moved beyond mere mimicry and now I put multiple words together to actually form sentences!
This started happening a few months ago, but I'm a full on conversationalist now and my parents are loving every minute of it.
For the long Independence Day weekend, we stayed around town. Of course we hit the Big Slide one morning, only we changed up where we got our chocolate milk and pastries. Moms and I did some grocery shopping for our 4th of July BBQ and we ate hamburgers and drank milkshakes (my first milkshake...YUM!) out on our back deck. I was put to bed before the fireworks began, but my parents tell me the shows were spectacular from their deck. Can't wait until I'm old enough to stay up and enjoy!!

The following weekend instead of hitting the Big Slide, Moms won and we went to the zoo instead. It was an especially cool trip because they had a neat dinosaur exhibit and we went and checked it out...after the Elephant Ear snack, of course!

Me and Pops check out this dino...I can't remember his name
The cheetah wasn't in his area...
...but I still had fun driving the Jeep!

Happy 2nd Birthday, Cousin Ava Lane!
Princess Ava Turns 2!
Ava's Party was OFF THE HOOK: Ponies,
Face Painters, and
a Bouncy Train!!!
I loved playing ALL the carnival games!
But THIS game was my FAVORITE!
I loved the Balloon Animals!
We celebrated JW's 2nd Birthday and Ava's 2nd Birthday in July. There were LOTS of cool kids born in 2009, if I do say so myself.
The week after Ava's birthday, Moms' good friend Miss Dina came for a visit. We took her to check out the Big Slide where Pops and I like to party. She was pretty impressed.
It was great to see Miss Dina, I just hope her next visit includes Mr. Dave, Everett & PIPER!
July wrapped up with dinner out with the Shoen Family, followed by some play time at Jameson Square.
Ava is a nice girl, so she shared her pink bucket with me.
Little did she know she'd NEVER get it back from me!
The month ended with a trip to Pronghorn Golf Club in Central Oregon. We went to celebrate cousin Caitlin's marriage to (now) cousin Maarty! What a blast we all had at the reception.
Moms and I danced the night away.
The next morning we woke up and there were little bunny rabbits and some quail outside of our townhouse. I could have stayed there for days...sadly, we only got to stay for a night.
Before the drive my parents thought it would be good to fuel me up and tire me out
Moms packed my monkey for some cuddles...
I was out like a light!!
Me and Pops ready for the wedding: I might have pulled my lid down a bit too tight...
And, in the end: A Haircut and some Chocolate Milk
