On May Day, Moms and I went to Granny and Grandpa's house to visit with Auntie Feather and Mr. Dick and Miss Judy.  It was super fun to see them again, and I'm still asking about them a week later!

As is required when I visit my grandparents, we took a trip to the park.

When we got home, I sang a song for Moms.  You may remember my version of this song in February--I know the words even better now AND I get the concept that I'm being filmed...too bad Moms can't figure out how to operate her camera phone.
Uncle Bobbob had a birthday this month, and I joined Granny and Grandpa at his birthday party at his parents' house.  My parents went out that night to pay off a bet, so I represented the Moawad branch of the family tree (with style, of course).  I got to meet my Auntie Feather's other nephews, Adam & Nate.  We had a blast.  As soon as I'm out of diapers, I'm hoping Uncle Bobbob and Auntie Feather let us come over for a sleepover!  PARTY!

As the month of May rolled on, Moms and Pops went to a Multnomah Bar Association function.  Katy Jo came over to babysit me.  I like to make my parents feel like I care when they leave, so I put up a little fuss, but as soon as they're out the door I'm ready to party.

Moms had to laugh, though, because for the second time after a KJ sitting, my diaper was on backwards.  This time we made a video for her.

With Pops' new job, carpooling has gotten a bit more challenging, so we got Moms a Prius for her commute.  On Saturday mornings, though, Pops and I like to get up early and take her car out on adventures.  We usually go get some coffee, chocolate milk, blueberry muffins, and then we hit the big slide.

I like to party with my Pops so much, I tell Moms to stay home even when she wants to come with us!

She enjoys her alone time but she is ready to see me when I get home!

On May 25th we celebrated my second birthday.  It was pajama day at school, lest you think my Moms doesn't dress me well...

My biggest concern to start the day was where my Birthday Crown was.  Moms was also concerned, having failed to buy one for me.  She was glad to learn that I would get one at school when she and Granny brought treats for my class.

I was so happy to see Moms and Granny later that day.  They brought frozen fruit juice bars for me and my friends, and then we all played together in my class.  We left a little early and hit a park on the way home, then we all met up with Pops who had gotten me a cupcake to continue the celebration.  It was Grrrrrrrr-EAT!

...I much preferred the berry flavored one (and I was the birthday boy, after all!)

A few days after my birthday I had my 2-year-old wellness check.  Only one shot.  That's a win.

I'm now 3 feet tall (87th %ile),
I weigh 32 lbs, 15 oz (89th %ile),
and my head is 20-1/2" around (99th %ile).

The doctor was also very impressed with my vocabulary.

Moms tries to get this shot every time. I am losing my patience with this tradition.
Memorial Day Weekend:

Pops and I got up early and partied at the big slide.  Then we all piled into the car and headed to the beach.

When we arrived, I was surprised to see balloons and a pirate-themed party FOR ME!  More birthday presents!  It was awesome.  Not only was there face painting, but my Great Uncle Dale also planned a treasure hunt.  It was super fun to follow the big kids around to the beach to dig up the treasure chest (even if it took a little bit longer than we thought it would...)

We also celebrated Cousin Jordan's COLLEGE GRADUATION that weekend.  Congratulations to him on a job well done (and in less than four years...what?!?!?!)
