Granny and Gramps returned from their trip and couldn't wait to see yours truly. Moms let me go spend the night there their first weekend back, and she and Pops went to see "The Avengers."
Before that, though, Moms and some friends celebrated Moms' birthday. Cousins Katy Jo & Miranda came over to babysit. We watched "Toy Story 2" (or "Meet Jessie," as I like to call it...) It was a blast.

The second weekend in May we returned to GREAT WOLF LODGE!!!! This time, Granny and Gramps joined us on the trip.
I have a hard time choosing my favorite part of GWL. Is it the BIG BUCKET? The arcade with the Ice Cream Truck I drive around? The jet skis in the kid pool? Starbucks on sight? I seriously cannot say....

Unlike Pops, I embrace the bucket splash

This photo and all the GWL pix courtesy of our new Pentax camera. It's crush & dust & waterproof. A good investment for parents of a young boy.

This enema courtesy of Granny (just kidding: I was wearing a swim diaper!)
Back at the arcade, some random kid got into MY Ice Cream Truck ride. Good thing daycare has taught me how to share, or it would have been ON.

I can't exactly blame Granny for this one...it's all on me
Can you nap in a pool? I was willing to try.

Leaving the water for the last time on this trip. Good times.
Bye Bye Gramps!
After a long weekend of fighting naps and going to bed late, I crashed out on the couch

We went on a heart walk. So did these people. While they ate Cheetos. I report, You decide.
Checking out the Army Ambulance. They let me go in the front and pretend I was driving, and I checked out the back too!

May means one thing to me:
IT'S MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This year, my friend Walter and I shared a birthday celebration at daycare. Lots of kids in my class have May birthdays! Then I went with Moms, Granny & Gramps to the beach so we could enjoy some Red Cabin time with family. Auntie Feather and most of the rest of the clan joined us Friday night, and then on Saturday Pops completed the group. He brought his bike and took me on a ride.

Nice Hospital Gown
At the end of the month I had my 3-year wellness exam. I weigh 38.8 pounds (95th %ile), I'm 3'2.75" (80th %ile), and my Moms was disappointed to learn they don't do the head circumference anymore...
It's a time to reflect on all my skills. I'm now POTTY TRAINED (still wear a diaper for naps and bedtime, but otherwise...) I put together many, many words into sentences that make sense most of the time. I ask "WHY?" constantly. And I'm developing quite a sense of humor.
