As I mentioned last month, September started at the Red Cabin.
Moms and I hung out with Granny, Gramps, and lots and lots of family on the peninsula. Pops wanted to feel the wind in his hair, so he went a different direction. While we were west, he went east. We missed him, but we had a good time anyway!
Granny, Me & Kevin enjoy the waves
Srsly Moms: first time with a camera?
Hard to see how cute I am with the sun at my back
Quicksand!!!!!
Crab
Running Around
Having Fun
Yep, it's the Red Cabin!
A few of my Adoring Fans
Lucky for me, my cousins are VERY tolerant
Me & Bubba have a little fireside chat. Things got pretty deep.
She is putty in my hands
When we go out of town, I get sugar cereal. I wish we went out of town ALL THE TIME.
BEACH MONSTAH! Rooooaarrrr.
So lucky the sun stayed out all weekend!
The original plan was to write out "owenmoawad.com" in the sand and make it a part of the homepage. But we quickly became bored and realized it's more fun just to play.
I prefer my reflection, but my shadow will do in a pinch
Auntie Feather was in Germany, so AnnaBanana stepped in and played with me lots
Granny's fleece was nice and warm after playing in the ocean
Moms and I met up with an injured Pops back home on Monday. Poor Pops broke his collarbone over the weekend while we were apart! That didn't keep him from heading to Eugene to start his MBA program at the U of O later that week. That's right, people, my HUSKIES Pops is now a DUCK!!!!! Moms is so proud of him. With Pops gone, Moms and I enjoyed some quality time together. And, of course, Granny and Gramps came by and helped too!
After the Washing Machine. (Just Kidding!!)
Laundry
Moms is a big fan of the show "Glee." Here is a "mash up" of songs like they do on that show. Bonus: I use lots of made up words, because I. Am. Hilarious.
Hablo un POCO de Espanol!
In a Moawad bag!
Honestly, I think I'm a musician at heart.
I let Moms take me to her work picnic, cuz I'm cool like that
With River D. I asked her to prom. Too soon?
After the picnic, Moms took me to spend the night at Granny and Grandpa's. I fell asleep in the car mere minutes away from their house, so Moms decided to drive around until I woke up so I could have a halfway decent nap. She drove all around her old "stomping grounds" by old friends' houses and neighborhoods. I hear she was feeling quite nostalgic at the end of it all...
G & G & I went on a picnic of our own the next day
While Moms went to a Seahawks - Cowboys game with Kevin, Jordan & Dylan; meanwhile, Pops studied
What did you say the score of the Cowboys game is? Aye-yai-yai! Poor Moms!
The following weekend I was back at Granny and Grandpa's house--this time for TWO nights! Pops had to have surgery on that collarbone after all, so Moms thought it would be best if she only had one baby to take care of for the weekend.
Opening the Aloha Liberry with Grandpa, because EVERYONE loves a politician with a toddler!
Helping haul some branches down G & G's driveway
I am allowed 3 - 15 minute breaks to chew on some straw while working in their yard
Honestly, does anyone know the Child Labor Laws in this state?
BTW: Granny pays me in novelty Halloween glasses
Those of you who know my parents know how important physical fitness is to both of them. Watch the video below and try to figure out who I got my athletic prowess from: Moms or Pops.
