August started of pretty mellow, but we quickly filled up our weekends.
The first weekend in August we had dinner at Mr. Mazyar and Miss Sam's house to celebrate the return of Miss Alafair (this time with Mr. Sean and Double the Dog). We followed that evening out with breakfast the next morning with the Snowschroes. After breakfast, we headed back to their place for some Bouncy House & Kiddie Pool quality time.
Took my Bouncy House to share with Cyrus, but he was NOT interested
Lunch after a squirt gun battle
Field trip to a trout farm. Thanks again, people who worked there, for cleaning my fish! It was deeee-lish.
I'm settling right into my new classroom

Back in April, Granny auctioned of a Cioppino dinner at my daycare auction
While the grownups ate that, we dined on the finest Macaroni and Cheeses
Then we all headed downstairs for some "Peter Pan" while the grownups kept eating, and drinking, and talking
GUESS WHERE I WENT IN AUGUST?!?!
Guess? Can you guess? I'll give you a hint. It's the HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH!
Yes, that's right. Thanks to a conference for work, Moms and I tagged along with Pops to DISNEYLAND in August! We left on a Sunday and stayed through Friday. It was amazeballs. Without further ado:

These were just a bit messy
After Mater's ride, it was time to use our Radiator Springs Racers Fast Passes. As the newest ride in the parks, the waits lasted up to 3 hours. But not for us! Fast Passes RULE!
Before we got in line, though, we made a little pit stop at the Cozy Cone Motel for some dipped ice cream cones.
(It started off innocently enough!)
What chocolate ice cream cone?
Ready to race off in our race car

Bumper Cars in Bugs World--a little more modern than the ones I was used to from Long Beach
Heimlich's Chew Chew Train: even fans of the film have to find this ride boring
As we wrapped up the night, Moms was looking for a particular ride without using the map. As a result, we ended up at the TOWER OF TERROR.
I was tall enough for the ride, so my parents thought, "How bad could it be?"
Off we went. We should have known when the ride loader asked if I'd been on the ride before and, when I shook my head no, she replied, "Well, you don't ever have to go on it again" while she slammed the door.
The only consolation is that my parents tell me they, too, thought it was scary. My Pops said he "...almost tossed [his] cookies." Whatever that means....
Before the ride it was all fun and games
We are in the front right row. I'm the one who looks nonplussed.
On the way to the Monsters Inc ride we stopped at Monsters U

After the physical exertion of the canoe ride, it was snack time. And once I ate my fruit and Cheetos, I was ready for a quick photo sesh. Enjoy!!

Private Cabana: that's just how we roll
After a busy and slightly grumpy morning at California Adventure (I'm looking at YOU, Moms) we headed back to our room for a little R&R, and then some of my parents' friends came to hang out. Mr. Patrick, Miss Stephanie and their son Kyle joined us and shortly after they arrived Miss Jenn and Bennett also came. Kyle and Bennett are older than me, but close in age, so it was super fun to hang out. I was a little worried about the slides at first, but once I saw Kyle going down all of them, I got brave and tried some with him. We played at the pool for a few hours, and then ANOTHER friend, ANOTHER Miss Jen, joined us for dinner. There was, of course, some time at the Lego Store.
The TV in the cabana made it hard to leave
Moms asks: Do you have any idea how hard it is to get ONE good picture of THREE little boys?
Heading over to Tortilla Joe's
OMG I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE GUACAMOLE CART!
Our enthusiasm was a bit more subdued once we got to the table

Many characters stop by at the Kitchen, here we are with Pluto!
Dale & Cinderella's Fairy Godmother
I don't want to brag, but Cindy's FG was seriously charmed by yours truly. She could not get enough. Maybe she'll hook me up with a princess soon.
I took this picture of Moms! (with Goofy who was a little hands-y if you ask me)
When we got back home, my parents immediately handed me off to my grandparents so they could go play with friends. Whatever.
Moms and I went to Charlie B's birthday party the next day, and then we were back to reality. Lucky for me, my first week back to school included a cool field trip to Blue Lake Park.
Getting ready to explore
