September started with Labor Day weekend (as it often does). Pops had a trip coming up, so we decided to stay close to home. This meant a trip to OMSI on Labor Day itself. We had a great time, and explored the TURBINE ROOM for the first time!
We followed up our trip to OMSI at Bunk Sandwiches where I had some tots, some tomato soup, and a grilled cheese sandwich. Yum. Then Pops introduced me to what he is calling a holiday-only-beverage known as a Slurpee. Fruity flavored sugar ice? YES, PLEASE!
Junkyard exhibit teaches about recycling (note Pops is ignoring it)
Reenacting scenes from Season Two of The Wire
(Yes, I know Moms already made that joke on The Facebook, but it was funny and so I stole it from her)

The Sobotka boys (wait, does that make me Nicky or Ziggy?!?!)
Moms continues to try to teach me the fine art of dipping my GC in my TS

Waiting for the birds to start their descent into the chimney
It is quite the event
The next day we took my grandparents to the MAC for lunch and a Portland State Vikings football game.
I got a bit bored, so Moms took me around the club and we played some hoops and checked out other activities.
Here's a video of me throwing the rock--try not to be blown away by my athletic prowess.
Didn't climb the rock wall, but it looks intriguing
Dress like a Pirate Day (but this hat was a bit small)
So Moms made me a bandana like Jake's
