My Annual Check-Up! All is well, in case you're worried....
We didn't see this movie, but this picture sure is cute
Jack's parents graciously invited us to join their neighborhood's awesome 4th of July block party again this year. My parents "helped out" by taking me and Jack to the movies before the party...I mean, I guess that helped his parents get ready for the party without having to keep him entertained but I think we got off easy.
We saw "Inside Out"--I think Moms liked it the best of all of us.
Taking a break from a water gun fight to enjoy a rest on Moms' lap
July 2015 was a scorcher in Oregon, friends.
Before we knew what the weather was going to be, Gramps bought tix for him, me & Pops to go to the Air Show. Unfortunately for Gramps, his shoulder had other plans but his loss was Moms' gain.
At least, I think it was: it was so hot that day that we were all simultaneously excited to be there and in complete misery. A real conundrum. Anyway, enjoy the pix.
Pops was a sport on the way in....
That's a big bird
Do I have a fear of heights? I don't know yet, but if I do, this window on the floor of the helicopter would freak me out
Thanks for the shade, crop duster!
Ugh. Manspreading is a SCOURGE on society, friends....especially when it's over 90 degrees out
Pro tip: when you're in the shade, another way to see the planes is to use your phone to take selfies....
For portions of the show we braved the sun and sat in our very good seats
You can't go to the airshow and just take pictures of yours truly--the planes are cool too
Sitting on Pops' lap helped to defeat the manspreading offender, but what a sport he was considering the heat....
The HOTTEST picture of the Moawads you'll ever see (ba-dum-bum!)
My Moms really, really, really loves the precision flying of the Blue Angels!
Cat update: 2 out of 3 Moawad cats believe that July is TOO HOT TO HANDLE
Ant Man! That Paul Rudd is a national treasure
This is a pretty typical post-camp look for me...actually, this is pretty CLEAN!
Family Wedding Alert! With cousins Trevor & Solange
Me & Moms--I clean up pretty good!
Quiet! I'm hunting wabbits.
FAMILY! Lots and Lots of branches of the Moawad Tree
This photo was limited to the younger generations, blood relatives only! (With an exception made for the groom, of course)
Moms, this feels a little inappropriate
The day after the wedding it was OFF to see the Mariners play!
Honing up on my Broadcasting Skillz....
A U G U S T
The hot weather continued in August, and nowhere was that more apparent than at the Portland Police Association Picnic that Moms and I went to with Gramps.
I found a new friend and enjoyed many rides with him, while our parents found shady spots to watch us from.
Gramps was still sporting a sling, but at least he made it out of the house!
Moms was not sorry to miss out on being spun around in the sun
I thought it was great, though!
Waving to my adoring fans
Dang, I still love this motorcycle ride
In order for me to ride this, Moms had to come with me....this was before the ride--she was kind of green after
After a few years being out of town, Pops and I headed back out to Portland's Bridge Pedal
We had Moms drop us off in NW Portland, and off we went!
The good news: I pedaled in the right direction this year
The bad news, after one-and-a-half bridges, this happened
Milkshake GET IN MA BELLY
Joined Moms at the promotion and farewell ceremony for Oregon's Adjutant General
And I saw a tank
In case you forget my name....it's right here
Hoping the bobcats don't take notice and try to eat me for lunch!
