May started with Marvel Avengers: Age of Ultron; Pops was wearing his Iron Man shirt but refused to pose for this family shirt shot
This is a blog about ME, but sometimes one of my parents does something cool enough to make it on these pages--here is the POTUS mere seconds before he shook Moms's hand
Native Oregonian and NFL Star Ndamukong Suh was there too
Playing with Sugar on the smaller cat tree, located in my parents' room
Barista Friday!
My kindergarten class after our performance at the all-school round up. I'm standing in the back row looking coy.
Cat Update: All 4 Cats pile on Pops while he tries to sleep. HAHAHAHAHA!
Moms! I'm almost 6! I DON'T NEED A NAP!!!!!
What Can I Say? I'm a health nut
Seriously....health nut!

As devoted readers of this website know, May is the month of my birth! Here's me with my AVENGERS birthday cake. Thanks Granny!

Another Friday, another trip to Barista
You know, from now on I'm just going to post the Barista pictures and skip the captions
We ended the month at an event for Moms' work--I snoozed in the car on the way
Fortunately, I woke up in time to meet Miss Oregon
Oh, yeah...and the Governor of the State of Oregon. NBD!
June
Me and my Tony Stark Tower--nice work Moms
A little chill time with Gramps
When Pops goes out of town I like to sleep on his side of the bed!
....that is, until I'm actually asleep--then I somehow turn sideways and end up on Moms
Last day of school Barista!
With my awesome Kindergarten teacher!!
Moms got to see Marcus Mariota's Heisman Trophy
Here it is close up
In June we said good-bye to Layla--this photo is clear evidence of how sick she was in her last days. She never, ever would have let me get this close in her younger days. She was not a very loving cat, in fact quite skittish, but we still loved her and it was sad to say good-bye.
Pops & Mr. Eric went to the US Open, so Moms and I headed to Cannon Beach for the annual sand castle festival
Saturday morning started with some coffee....
.....and a donut!
Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach
Enjoying the breezy beach!
The hotel we stayed at put up these nice windscreens
The wind screen made sand castle building much more civilized
So, here's a pro tip--don't go TOO EARLY to the sandcastle festival because, although it's super neat to get the "behind the scenes" look at how they build the displays, on a windy day you'll run out of patience if you're 6-years-old and a little bit cold....
Next time we'll stay 2 nights, we'll sleep in & I'll be G2G (good to go). This year, we left before construction was complete, stopped for lunch on the way, and got home in time to chill out.
These guys are using straws--STRAWS!--to achieve the level of detail they're looking for
Castle foundation under construction
This castle's builders were on ladders to reach the top spires
All-in-All, I'd say this trip was a win
Frollicking
SO SCARY
Big wheel, little kid
Still love a good 'dozer after all these years
"Hi, Daddy! I'm in your bed while you're gone! Phbbbt"
Being a real, live school-aged kid changes up the way we vacation. It also changes up summer....no more taking me to the same place every day and paying a reasonable rate, no sir! NOW that I'm a big kid, it's all about SUMMER CAMPS.
Moms did a pretty good job hooking me up. I did a lot of outdoor camps and learned to track animals, camouflage myself with mud, fish, build forts and fires, etc. I also did some LEGO camps, ukulele lessons, I learned the "Cups" song....attended Zoo Camp with my old pal Luke....did a swim camp!
Phew, I'm exhausted just thinking about it.
Luckily for you, Moms can't follow me around camp with her camera, so you only have to see a few pictures and videos!
The month ended with a slumber party with my cousin Ava at Granny's house! GOOD TIMES!
