First grade was in full swing. My new teacher was ready to teach me all kinds of awesome new math and reading skillz.
As school got back into full swing, Moms and our Friday morning Barista tradition got back into full swing too.
Moms thought I was ready to pull off the Top Gun look
my school has a fun school year kick off tradition!
We stayed home for Labor Day weekend so we went to the DUCKS game with the Snowschroes. It's real hard for my dad to go to Duck games! We constantly have to remind him it's his alma mater!
Moms and Miss Kirsten do their Duck and O faces
Me and Jack can make the same faces!
The best way into the Ducks game is on the shoulders of our Dads
Don't get me wrong, it was great to see the Ducks beat the Eastern Washington Eagles 61-42, but the real win of the day was QT with my BF, the JackAttack
The 3 kitties chill on the couch together. They don't always like each other, so this was a special occasion.
I must break you
We were supposed to be getting supplies for my Saturday Trackers adventures, but Moms just kept making me try on these silly hats
I am really into John Williams' Themes from Jurassic Park
QT time with Pops at Dinner,
and at OMSI
I had enjoyed Trackers summer camps so much more than sports, that my Moms signed me up for their Saturday school year program.
So, Pops and I worked on my whittling skills and as you can see from these photos I also became an expert in using nature's paint to camoflauge myself in the wild.
Safe knife skills are critical in the wild
Sure you can see me here but you couldn't in the woods!
are the best Cheetos
October continued and we went to our SECOND Duck Game in two months...although this game was at Husky Stadium. The stakes were high for Moms: would the Ducks continue their streak and go 12-0 vs. Pops' Huskies? (Spoiler alert: YAAAAAASSS!!!!)
Our weekend in Seattle was super fun. First we had breakfast with Pops' frat bro Mr. Mark and I got to check out Duke's sweet tree house and swing. Then a quick trip to the Pacific Science Center before a pre-game nap. Moms and I got some awesome custom t's for the game that, she admits, would play better at Autzen (turns out Kenny Wheaton's big play is a much bigger deal to Duck fans than Husky fans).
Finally, we capped off the weekend watching the Hawks take on dabbin' Cam Newton and his Carolina Panthers. Unfortunately, the Hawks lost that one 27-23.
I mean, can you even with this treehouse? Mr. Mark built it himself and it had everything including a sweet porch!
The building feat is even more impressive when you consider how high up it is
Mmmmm....cherry soda tongue!
Smashed by a T-Rex......RIP
When Pops saw our KENNY WHEATON'S GONNA SCORE shirts, Pops was nonplussed
He was also nonplussed when he saw the SCOREBOARD
I think we were all relieved that the Hawks weren't playing Moms' other fave team the Cowboys, so we could all be united on Sunday for the Hawks!
Free tix to the gun show, yo!

Is this really what the locker room looks like?
Not exactly in Beast Mode for this photo
Happy with my iPad and my HawkHawk
Dinner out with my 'rents the night before Halloween. Moms can't cook, she has Jello Shots to make.

Meanwhile, yours truly was crushing it as velociraptor-training Owen Grady from Jurassic World

Even scarier than this floating head? The realization that the month is over and now, so is this page.
